Dont change your Serrada. Instead study what they
are doing at the tournaments, and then go back
to your Lock & Block and find the answer to defying it.
Now, the problem is that most Serrada people
are so divided and not even working out with each
other to exchange any concepts, and to see the various
ways to do something, that I cannot explain here.
First to see is this:
the fight starts not in Serrada, it starts in
Long Distance (Largo!) so learn the simple Largo
movements that you have to apply first,..
then when you close in the distance you go into
"Serrada".
Most Serrada people I saw at last tournament
apparently did not know this, and wanted to
apply Serrada in a distance that was not
for Serrada!
Another thing: You must do your classes out
in the football field and have entire class
RUN for half and hour every class to develop
some physical conditioning. Everyone must do
WEIGHT LIFTING sets in between Lock & Block sets.
