Unless sessions are being held at midnight I won't be able to attend weekday training at the moment.
Thinking of having some birthday-ish drinks on Friday 22nd Feb if anyone fancies meeting up in town. Venue to be decided.

For any of you still using this e-mail group, we are having net sessions at Fortismere school on Tuesdays and it would be nice to see some of you there as we are employing a coach and he is very good. Please try to come along.

Last Tuesday there were only three of us turned up - which is disappointing. It was a particularly good session as someone came along to give proper training and coaching.
Is anyone coming along next week (29th)?
Ranjit, the coach, handed out forms to fill in and send to him so he could tailor the coaching to suit.
If you want to join in send your name and the following to ranjit.bhanabhai. co.uk
Batting (i.e. RHB, No4, top score, average) Bowling (i.e. RAF, open, 1st change, best haul, no of wickets, avereage) Fielding (position, run outs, catches, dropped catches) Any other comments
Carol - do you have details of the AGM on 30th? Where? When? etc. Thanks
I hope interest in the league hasn't dwindled otherwise we'll start to lose our better players...

The school is in a road called Tetherdown in Muswell Hill. It is off a road called Fortis Green just as it becomes Fortis Green Road. The school is next to Muswell Hill Synagogue. It shows up quite clearly on streetmap.
Hope that helps.
Best wishes,
Stephanie

Hi everyone...is the map on the website accurate? Just go up Highgate Hill and turn right into Fortismere School? I only ask because if you google the school it has a different address in Muswell Hill.

Hi Carol,
Thank you for your e-mail concerning net practice.....it was very timely as I am starting to suffer from cricket withdrawal syndrome (running up and bowling in the office/playing imaginary expansive cut shots off the back foot in the middle of Tesco's).
However,
what I am most concerned about is the status of our league. Have you been able to contact Kim yet and if so when is the league meeting? As I have said before, I have some suggestions that would make life easier for the league organiser and for the clubs and women players.
If the league is in difficulties we (in other words you, Nicola Wilson and I) will need to be pre-active in protecting our competitive cricket fixtures. This could mean canvassing the other sides and re-forming the league ourselves or applying to another league. If we have to do the latter, we must do it very soon.
If you get a chance, please call me on my new office number - 020 7023 6153. You can also e-mail me on stephanie.mindel@therentservice.gov.uk . I now have a Blackberry, courtesy of work, so you can get me at nearly any time by e-mail.

Hi All.
Hope you all had a great christmas and new year and are ready to get down to some serious cricket training. The winter nets start on Tuesday January 15th from 7pm until 9pm. They are being held at Fortismere school, (map on website) and the cost is £ 5.00. per session. We are sharing with the guys so should be able to face some different bowling. Hope to see lots of you there as we need to regain the cup next season.

Just emailing to invite all you AP ladies
(and friends and partners) to my housewarming party, Saturday 1st December, my
place from 9pm. Bit short notice and I know that it is party season, but it
would be lovely to have any of you there.
Address is 55B Park Ave N22 7EY, just over
the train line from the ground.
(No I haven't moved, yes it is the same
place I've been in for the last three years, so yes the housewarming is a
little overdue...! )
I didn't realize you played cricket too, I was gonna start but never got round to it that's why I have ended up on the email circulation.

- Polly, sorry didn't make your party, hope you had a good one

- Suzi, did you have any response on a social in November, if so got a date yet? That's a whole month away though so I might be in touch

Hi Everyone.
Wanstead have just come back to me with the suggestion they might be able to get their second square for 30th September, for a double headder, what does anyone think are we available to get a team out. Please let me know as soon as possible.
