Thank you for your e-mail concerning net practice.....it was very timely as I am starting to suffer from cricket withdrawal syndrome (running up and bowling in the office/playing imaginary expansive cut shots off the back foot in the middle of Tesco's).
 
However, what I am most concerned about is the status of our league. Have you been able to contact Kim yet and if so when is the league meeting? As I have said before, I have some suggestions that would make life easier for the league organiser and for the clubs and women players.
 
If the league is in difficulties we (in other words you, Nicola Wilson and I) will need to be pre-active in protecting our competitive cricket fixtures. This could mean canvassing the other sides and re-forming the league ourselves or applying to another league. If we have to do the latter, we must do it very soon.

Hi All.

 

Hope you all had a great christmas and new year and are ready to get down to some serious cricket training.  The winter nets start on Tuesday January 15th from 7pm until 9pm.  They are being held at Fortismere school, (map on website) and the cost is £ 5.00. per session.  We are sharing with the guys so should be able to face some different bowling. Hope to see lots of you there as we need to regain the cup next season.
