Being from Ottawa, which is just across the river from where he lives.  I read a lot about him.  He did have a girlfriend just before the last Olympics, but that ended after a short time.     he was a guest on a french tv program, in which one of the hosts is openly gay, he told Alexandre that the biggest medal he had was in his bathing suit.  Alexandre found this hilarious.    he was also on the Rick mercer Show, another openly gay host.  Alexandre was teaching him how to dive.
