Like a lot of athletes, Despatie, 22, was treated to boos from the
partisan Brazilian fans during his final few dives. "The boos in my
last dives helped test my concentration. But it didn't bother me at
all," he said.

Alexandre Despatie won bronze in the 10-metre tower diving final at
the Pan Am Games.
