Shimamoto Shihan at Bayside Budokai   Topic List   < Prev Topic  |  Next Topic >

On 3 February 1959 a tragic plane crash claimed the lives of Buddy Holly,
Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper, later to be immortalised as "The Day the
Music Died" by Don McLean. Years later some music died in Brisbane when in
September 2006 a blossoming alternative aiki kai scene was shot from the sky.

But now the music is set to live again as Bayside Budokai gets ready to welcome
Katsuyuki Shimamoto Shihan direct from the Toyonaka Shosenji Dojo and fresh from
his sell out tour of Holland and Eastern Europe. Sensei will be in concert over
the weekend of 4/5 July 2009.

Stay tuned to http://baysidebudokai.net for details.
