Hello there everyone.

Well, the school holidays are almost over so it's time to get back into the swing of things! 

As you will have noted from Fiona's message Registration Evening is being held at the Cloverleaf Hotel on THURSDAY 30th AUGUST 2007 .  Please remember that ALL teams must be represented on the night.

2007's Registration Evening is going to be slightly different from previous years (but hopefully will run smoothly and without any hiccups!)

Firstly, as well as registration there will be a short business meeting so please ensure that your teams are represented at this (no nipping off home early - sorry!)

Secondly, we changed how registration is completed.  This is to make the adminstrative side of things easier for Diane (treasurer), the league co-ordinators and the Secretary (me). 

So, what's different?  Well for a start we've got a checklist for you to complete to ensure that you take everything you need with you to the Registration Evening.  This checklist is per team so if you are a Club that has three teams, for example, you will need three checklist sheets.  The sheet itself is pretty self explanatory but if you have any queries just give us a shout.

Team Contact Sheets To avoid any confusion, this year we require each teacm to provide us with a contact details sheet for their players.  This is for adminstrative use only and will not be circulated.  It will be held by the District Secretary and the appropriate League Co-ordinators will also have a copy.

We would prefer it if you could have your lists in alphabetical order as this makes referring to them much simpler.

Please ensure the following details are included.

Name.  Address.  Contact No.  E-mail.  Date of Birth.  Type of affiliation fee paid to Netball Scotland.

Netball Scotland have also asked us to remind Clubs that if they have players under the age of 16 years then they must have a designated Child Protection Officer. 

Please make sure that you provide us with two copies of the Secretary's information sheet (one for Netball Scotland and one for us).  We only require one copy of the affiliation forms (the new contact sheet has elminated the need for an extra copy).

As always, please ensure that your Club knows about the forms and this e-mail.  Please do not presume that someone else from your Club is dealing with this - please make sure that it is. 

A short Agenda for the Registration evening will be posted to the files shortly and you will be notified when it is.
