Youth Volunteer Opportunities

Did you know that some of your friends are Buddies? 

They are Buddies to Very Important Players (VIPs) in AYSO Region 372’s VIP soccer program for children with disabilities.  The VIP program needs Buddy Volunteers, ages 10 and older, to work with VIP players during the AYSO soccer season. 

Being a Youth Buddy in the VIP soccer program is a great opportunity to:

·           Learn about differences

·           Receive valuable training

·           Serve your community

·           Have Fun!

Buddies help the players on and off the field, gain new skills, build new friendships with Players and Buddies, and have a great time.  We are now accepting new VIP Buddies, Coaches and Referees for the Fall 2008 Spring 2009 season.

If you are planning to attend the upcoming Buddy training/meeting on August 21, 2008; please contact Valerie Walker, vip@...   VIP PLAYER AND BUDDY REGISTRATION, and Buddy shirt distribution are available at this meeting.  Buddies need to be registered before AYSO Picture Day (on Saturday, August 23rd at Diamond Lake School, Mundelein).
