For most of the time, I'm not sure it matters. Indeed for club play and practice, having a slightly small court and a full court may be useful for different things.
For tournaments, however, I think it's probably more important that all the courts in use are the same size, otherwise the readjustment from one court to the next could prove problematic and seriously complicate lawn allocation, particularly if the E-W and N-S ratios aren't quite the same.

When we converted our 2.5 courts to 3 "full size" courts we had to compromise on the size of 2 courts,i.e. they are about 2 foot short and narrower in proportion.My question concerns the third court which meets specification.However some people think it should be the same size as the other two.What do the group think?RayNo virus found in this incoming message.
