This is basically a question on how to return servers in general
because almost all servers will have spin.

Basic strategy:
From my experience, the best way to get keep control of the return is
to reverse the direction of the spin on the ball. i.e. if you get a
backspin ball, chop it back. Trying to add to the same direction of
spin on the ball will be a topspin return, which is more difficult.

This technique I think gives the best chance of putting the ball back
in play, however, it may not give you the best chance of winning the
point. ... but at least you won't lose immediately by hitting the
ball out or in the net.

If you want to return the ball, such that, you'll be favored to win
the point, is a complex question that I'm not prepared to answer ...
I'll leave that to a better player to answer :)
