Welcome to the list! There are almost always other novice players at
the club, so don't feel like you're always doomed to defeat by going.
Plus, we have a free novice clinic on the second Saturday of the
month. The novice clinics are a great way to learn and practice with
other players around your skill level. (We had to skip the last two
clinics, but we'll be back on next month -- stay tuned to this list).
We also have coaching available Mondays and Wednesdays at 6pm hosted
by a regional coach, Ken Beauchamp, who has coached many of us at the
club.
In any case, if you want to be a good at table tennis, you'll have to
be able to get "cleaned" and learn from those cleanings.
