The Austin Table Tennis Association would like to invite you to participate in the 2008 Austin Winter Open, being held at the Austin Table Tennis Club on Saturday February 23, 2008.  This is a USATT-sanctioned tournament and is open to all USATT members.  If you are not a USATT member, you may purchase membership along with your tournament entry.

 

The tournament will feature seven rated singles events and two doubles events.  Singles will be Round Robin to Single Elimination and will consist of Open, U2400, U2200, U2000, U1800, U1600, and U1400 events.  Doubles events will be Single Elimination and will consist of Open and U3200 events.  Each singles event is limited to 16 players.

 

Prize money will be awarded to the to two finishers of the Open and U2400 singles events:  Open 1st, $300; Open 2nd, $150; U2400 1st, $100, U2400 2nd, $50.  Trophies will be awarded to the top two finishers in each of the other singles events.  Medals will be awarded to the top two doubles teams in each doubles event.
