STATESMAN: First, thanks to all of you that made special plans to
come to the club last week for the Austin American Statesman
interviews. The reporter spoke with a lot of you, and I'm sure she
got some good content for her story. It was great to have a full
house for them. We'd like to invite everyone to come again tonight.
They plan to bring a video camera this time to shoot some footage for
their Web site. They'll probably be there between 7:30 and 9.

GROUP LESSONS: We posted a group lessons page on the Web site at
http://www.austintabletennis.com/index.php?section=lessons . Our
first series ended last weekend and the next will begin on December
15. We're offering them in sets of three. Send an email to
information@... if you want to sign up (don't reply
to this message). We'll reply to everyone and choose the most
available dates as a group. If you have to miss a date, we can make
it up in the next series.

CLUB RENTAL: The Austin Chinese Professional Society has rented the
club this Saturday morning. We plan to be open at 1pm as usual, but
they may still have a few matches to finish up so we'll work that out
as best as possible.

FIRST FRIDAY NEWCOMERS NIGHT (FREE): Don't forget to tell your family
and friends about this Friday night for newcomers. Or, if you
personally haven't had a chance to come (or it's been a long time),
this is a good time to check us out. All the pong you care to play
from 6-9pm. Free hot dogs, chips and sodas. Bring the family and have
