The following ALOOOBASEBALL poll is now closed.  Here are the
final results:


POLL QUESTION: Proposal:   Eliminate the strict "3-day rest" requirement
when scheduling starting pitchers.  It is important to note
that existing rules regarding maximum number of starts and
restricting a starting pitcher to pitch in ONLY ONE game per
series would NOT be affected.

Rationale:  The existing rule makes pitcher scheduling a
very difficult task.  Several teams have historically
broken this rule, with no punitive action.  There is no real
benefit to this requirement, either.

Implementation of this proposal would be IMMEDIATE -
effective for the 2007 ALOOO season.  There is very little
stategic advantage gained or delayed by waiting until next
year.

Well, I see that 12 of us have voted on my rule proposal, with the
"Nays" winning 10-2.  Ironic that at least 5 of those voting against
the proposal submitted rotations this year that violated the 3-day
requirement.   My rotation's out there in the file section.  Feel free
to check my math.

About a week ago I submitted a rule proposal for your consideration.
Since then, only 8 of you have bothered to respond with a simple YES

Yesterdays draft was an extremely well run and smooth draft. It may
have been the quickest draft we have had in ALOOO, and that comes
directly fron everyone being well prepared and ready to make
selections. Great Job everyone!!

Thanks again to Dave for running the updated draft board and to Lee for
hosting the Draft Room. Those two things sure help the draft run
smoothly.

As far as deadlines, trading is now open for two weeks ending on Sunday
March 25 at 8:00 pm EDT.

MPS and Rotations are due by Sunday April 1 by 8pm EDT. Rotations and
MPS should be posted on the ALOOO Yahoo website.

If you have not created a folder on this website please do so, it makes
