You are invited to an afternoon of swimming and fun on a double-deck party barge
at Lake Travis. Fast Track Running Club (www.fasttrackrunners.org) and
Adventuring Outdoors (www.main.org/adventuring) will host a two-deck party barge
on Lake Travis near Austin, Texas. This event is held to give gay sports and
recreation groups a change to meet and socialize with each other.

We put on this same event last summer, and it was a big success. It's a chance
for gay sports and recreation groups to meet each other.

If you are the contact individual for a gay sport/rec group, please forward this

When: Saturday, July 17, 2004, 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm (the barge departs at 3:00 pm,
so show up no later than 2:45 pm to board)
Where: We will depart from the Just For Fun concession on Lake Travis and anchor
at Hippy Hollow for a few hours, and then return to Just For Fun by 7:00 pm.

Food: Snacks, soft drinks, water and ice will be provided. BYOB.
Cost: $15.00
Amenities: The barge has a sound system, a water slide, a restroom, tables,
chairs, and comes with its own pilot.

Here are the details:

1) Reservation is by pre-payment only. Send a check for $15.00, payable to Jim
Caruth, to: Jim Caruth, 1811 Santa Clara St., Austin TX 78757. You will not have
a reserved spot unless you pay in advance. PLEASE write your email address in
the lower left hand corner of the check, where it says "FOR______."

2) There are no refunds. Any excess funds will go to the host organizations or
to a non-profit such as ASA.

3) No payments will be accepted on the day of the event. All payment must be
made by Friday, July 16, 2004. The preferred method of payment is to mail me a
check.

4) Things to bring: swim trunks, towel, sun tan lotion, sun glasses, cap or hat,
tote bag to put your stuff in, change of clothes, sandals that can get wet,
BYOB, flotation device.

5) There will be a limit of about 60, and we filled up completely last year.
Please pre-pay soon if you plan to attend.

6) Just For Fun will only cancel an event due to inclement weather. In that
case, a refund will be made to everyone.

7) Parking at Just For Fun is tight, and it can be quite a hike from your car to
the boat dock. Allow plenty of time.
