does my horse care?   Message List

Re: [AERCMembersForum] does my horse care?

I respectfully disagree.  Various horses care about lots of different things.

1. Stevie Ray, being first period.  If this is not so, why was he sniffing the trail at his first 50 and only relaxed when there was no horse scent ahead of him?

2. Ranger. Playing.  He playes with the electric fence and the 2 year old.

3. Making sure that the Mares are in line.  Stevie Ray

4. Alysa and hopefully Marla.  Taking care of her foal.

5. All of my endurace horses.  The excitement of meeting new horses at a ridecamp.

... I agree with this threat to *some* extent. However, I think a horse with a good record, often receives better treatment in the long run. In that way a...

It probably has more to do with the time you spent and the bond you formed. The record is just correlated to that. But by golly you are right. I have only ever...

I have 8 horses and only 3 of them do endurance. I certainly don't give less care to those that don't compete. Personally, I don't see any correlation...
