Hello Everybody. Here in Chicagoland we are very luckey to have 3
Strong table hockey leagues that are playing Championships on 3
different boards next week. The 3 leagues are the Lemont Table Hockey
League / STIGA Championships on April 12th. the World Table Hockey
Assocation / MUNRO Championships in the far east side of Chicago on
April 18th and the Miniature Hockey League / COLECO 5340
Championships in South Holland on April 19th. That adds up to 3
Championships in 7 days here in Chicago.
This is very unique as i cant recall this happening in any other
cities. Even more unique there is 1 player here playing in all three
leagues. That player is Jeff Thill. Jeff Thill's first stop in his
quest for the Triple Crown of Chicago Table Hockey is satudray 12th
in Lemont for the Lemont Table Hockey Leagues Stiga Championship.
This on paper is his toughest obsticle of the 3. Jeff is the 4th seed
going into the Stiga Championship in Lemont BUT is more than capable
of finishing on top.
Second stop is Hegewisch for the WTHA MUNRO Championship on April
18th. Here Jeff is the #1 seed and has been blowing away the
competition. Jeff is the favorite here.
The thrid and final leg of this great Table Hockey adventure is in
South Holland Illinois / MHL for the COLECO 5340 Championship. Jeff
is the #1 seed here. Of the 3 boards this is where Jeff is strongest!
So there it is. We are in for a ExCiTeInG week of Table Hockey here
in Chicago.
