Jim Rzonca defeated WTHA founder Dwayne Stegner in the single game
final to win the presitigious Hegewisch Cup Saturday September 29th
in beautiful Hegewisch IL.

Jim went undefeated in the round robin--including victories over
WTHA 2007 Champ Rich Thill and 2007 Shark Tank and MHL champ Jeff
Thill--then tore through the single--elimination playoffs
culminating in a 7-2 victory over a hot and hungry Dwayne Stegner.


"Big Mike" won the B Pool over Dale.

Congrats to Jim Rzonca and also to Dwayne Stegner for hosting and
organzing a top notch munro tournament. Dwayne's games play better
than they look, especially with the custom made hollow wood pucks,
and his generosity and passion are second to none. Thanks also to
Darlene Stegner and all the other players who showed up and
played/partied hard in Hegewisch on Saturday. It was a beautiful
day and one we will never never forget.
