Very cool set of numbers AJ. Coleco 5380 is the game
for contested ice. In real hockey 100% of the ice is
contested so 66% is much closer to real life hockey
than what Stiga offers at 29%. Still Stiga is a very
well designed game when you consider there are no dead
spots, the size and weight of the puck in relation to
the width of the goalie and thre width of the nets
too.
Still, I think 66% contested ice presents players
with a game that is more unpredictable in tournies and
leagues. 66% contested ice also means more turnovers
can and will happen in a game. means puck posession
can not be easily controlled, maintained and that
every second of a game is better used up by both
players of a game. Stop time or bust!
