Our Saturday November 28th match will be a classifier. The CoF can be found at www.idpa.com in the rulebook and the minimum round count is 90. You will need a minimum of 3 magazines (4 for CDP Div shooters) or speed-loaders. Show-up times will be announced by squads in the update email (either 09:30 or 11:00AM).
1) Our Major Match Awards page at aafgidpa.com has been updated (to reflect the Maine, Blackwater, and Postal matches) and the format streamlined thanks to Jack Blundell.Check it out.
2) Possible IDPA Sanctioned Match – Arctic Blast – Wilkes Barre PA Saturday 1/9/10. There is a possibility that there will be an IDPA sanctioned match on 1/9/10 in PA (at the range at which the PA Independence match is held), but this is not yet certain and no formal announcement has yet been made. From our experience with the PA Frozen Penguin Match last January, the name “Arctic Blast” may be very appropriate. If we get more information, we will keep you advised.
If anyones interested, Ive got Ameriglo luminova sights for the all Glock models in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 SIG. These are not tritium, but those who use them like them better than tritium (easier to see in non-dark conditions).
Cost is $45 for the set + whatever method of shipping you want. Id also be glad to install them f with professional armorers tools included in that price. You can ship me your slide only and Ill mechanically zero the sights for you, or you can catch me at the range some time.
I usually have several sets of these on hand just as a favor to fellow IDPA Glockers, so let me now if youre interested,

Despite the less than ideal weather, we had 14 shooters for our AAFG IDPA 8 stage, 13 string, 62 round BUG Trophy Match. The results are attached.
Those who will receive an award are listed in the award column. In addition to the overall winner, there are 3 awards in the semi-automatic division and 2 awards in the revolver division. Allen gets the credit for the idea of having separate revolver and semi-automatic categories.
Hopefully, you found the stages challenging. We had some even more challenging stages planned but had to scale back on account of the ground conditions. We will save those stages for the next BUG match.
Our next match will be a Classifier on Saturday 11/28 run by Bill Osborne. The match announcement will be out mid week.
The BUG Trophy match tomorrow is on. Show up time is 9AM. The ground will be wet so bring appropriate footgear (and rain gear just in case). If the weather worsens to the point of cancellation (and we don't expect it will), we will notify you by email no later than 7:00 AM.
Also, we have a collection of stuff has been left at our range. If you are missing something, come pick it up. On 12/31/09 whatever is left will be discarded. Thanks,
This is a notice for any and all AAFG members who may be close to their 65th year of age and/or 10 years of membership. A vote will be coming up at the General meeting this Thursday that will be of interest to all. Please be there.
