Shooters,
As you may already know, there will be an extra IDPA match day at AAFG this month. It is Sunday 4/19 and we have the entire day (one of our "sanctioned" days). For the morning we will have a 12-stage (In your face) match with target distances from 3-18 feet and a minimum round count of 92. There should be time to shoot the match twice for those who want. The short distances will make it BUG gun friendly (although it will be a regular match with on-the-clock reloads).
My estimate is that there will still be plenty of time left over as we have all day. On the theory that one should never let a shooting day go to waste, we need a plan for the afternoon. That is the reason for this e-mail.
For Sunday afternoon 4/19 beginning at about 3 PM:
How many of you would be interested in a classifier?
How many would be interested in a plate match?
How many would be interested in practicing a door stage (assuming we get the door we have been promised by then)?
This is not a sign up announcement. I just want to get an estimate of shooter interest. Please let me know if you are interested in any or all of the above. If anyone has suggestions for something else that afternoon, let me know that also.
Regards,
Blind Old Pete
