The preseason schedule for the Thunder has been set in preparation for Opening Night on April 8.  The team will come together for the first time in Tampa, Florida on March 5.  Yankee Minor Leaguers will get there first competition of the year on March 17 with an Intrasquad game.  They will start facing other Minor Leaguers in preseason game action on March 20.  The team will break camp in Tampa and travel to Trenton on April 4.  The team will work out at Waterfront Park on April 6 and that will be open to the public.  The gates to this free event will open at 6:00 pm.  Refreshments will be available and there will be prize giveaways and a silent auction to benefit the Grand Slam We Care Foundation.  The next night the team will meet Thunder fans at the annual Welcome North Dinner.  Then on April 8, the quest for the 2004 Eastern League title will kick off.  Magnetic Schedules will be given to the first 2,000 fans courtesy of Wachovia and there will be a postgame fireworks display.
