47 Ronin "Chushingura" A Tale About the Samurai Code of Loyalty and Commitment To the Right "Tadashi" behavior in martial arts training.
Chu-Shin "loyalty" to martial arts training and teachers go beyond the dojo and involve "giri-ninjo on reigi" or the resolution of conflict between duty and self-desire....
Making the choice to do ...the right thing.....in life especially regarding Family...belief in karma and destiny.
How to make life choices thru Logic..Common Sense...and Intuition...
We here want to establish recognition of those who achieve this in their art and dojo life.
Long Island Chapter of 47 Ronin awards are given at the Karate USA Juniors Karate Championship each year.
To become eligible student must be a junior black belt level and enter competition... they are nominated by their instructors and demonstrate quality in leadership, responsibilty, and community causes.
