Hello everyone!!
I have a crafty idea that my mom taught me, and its only 10 steps to the
pefect gift!!!!! Check it out:
Have any old horse shoes?? Well then listen up!!
~Supplies Needed:~
A flat peice of wood (should be more than 10"x10")
Horse shoe
Any color spray paint
Your fav. horsie picture
4 nails
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 1: If your shoe has a lot of rust on it, or a little, try getting the
rust off with sand paper or a knife
Step 2: After getting it as smooth as you can, scrub the shoe with soap and
water.
Step 3: Find some old newspaper, and put the shoe on it
Step 4: Spray the spray paint on shoe!! Leave for a few hours to dry
completely!
Step 5: After waiting, flip and do other side, then wait the same amount of
time, and do finishing touches
Step 6: After it is fully covered with whatever color get your peice of
wood.
Step 7: Put the nails in the nail hole of the shoe and hammer the shoe to
the wood (in a 'U' shape)
Step 8: Attach the picture in the 'U' shape any way you want.
Step 9: Make your finishing touches, write on it with marker if you want
FINAL Step 10: Wrap if you want, and present it to someone as the perfect
gift, or hang it somewhere!
I haven't done it yet, but I did my aluminum shoe (from my deceased
horse) in gold, and turned out very gorgeous!! (TIP: Black is not a good
color!! I HIGHLY recommend GOLD)
Hope you like this!
